“Logrand is developing a .com platform to expand beyond Mexico”

network of affiliates, white-label, and its platform are the three business options Mexico-based Logrand Entertainment Group currently offers online. Lenin Castillo told Yogonet the company’s affiliate network is currently made up of seven operators who together manage 47 platforms in Mexico; Logrand has also developed a white label model and they are currently working on another one; and the success of the company’s own platform, Strendus, has encouraged Logrand’s team to work on the imminent launch of a .com site that will enable the company to reach international markets.

Logrand has been closely following the evolution of the LatAm markets, especially Colombia, the first jurisdiction in the region to regulate online gambling across the territory. Castillo —Head of Online Operations— said they are evaluating all the alternatives available: entering solely the online sector, adding a retail offering, or partnering up with a land-based operator already established at a local level.

“We believe that in less than ten years, Latin America will be competing on an equal footing with Europe in terms of volume,” Castillo said when explaining their reasons to expand the company’s online footprint beyond Mexico. Holding a solid career in retail gambling —the company has been operating 13 casinos since 2013—, Logrand’s team decided to launch their Strendus brand online, and since then, they have never stepped back.

Besides operating its own online gaming platform, Logrand offers a wide range of options for those companies seeking to go live in the online channel. It offers a network of affiliates, a white-label model, and the company’s own platform.

“Why would an operator want to work with us if it could potentially see us as its direct competitor? There are companies whose size or business model is not compatible with the development of an online operation from scratch. We are icons in this industry, both for our competitors and clients as well as the authorities. We abide by all of the rules and that provides certainty,” Castillo explained.

The company’s official said their relationship with other operators through the affiliate network is based on trust and transparency in data management. “Their clients are already gambling on digital platforms. If they hadn’t done it before, they are doing it now as a result of the lockdown measures and the shutdown of retail facilities. So isn’t it better that they are able to interact with a platform that they are promoting, in which they are able to generate revenue and through which they can have a direct communication? Strendus works as a link, that is what we offer.”

For those who wish to go even a step further, Logrand offers a white-label service: they will have a platform with their name and imaging, but it will be operated by Logrand.
