Playtech Hails Performance of Enhanced Leaderboards Solution

Latest News

Playtech has recently updated and upgraded its leaderboards solution as part of its continued focus on improving player engagement tools and player experience.

The major gambling software provider said that online gambling operator Mansion has already seen strong results from its latest promotions delivered through the leaderboards solution.

Playtech’s recently revamped and enhanced tool enables operators to bolster players experience and build loyalty by adding competition-style elements to their offering. As they play, players can earn points to climb higher in the leaderboards for a chance to win a range of prizes at no extra cost for them.

An in-game messaging system further looks to enhance the experience offered to online gambling customers of operators that have deployed Playtech’s leaderboards solution.

Playtech’s products provides its operator partners with the opportunity to build leaderboards around different themes or around any game across their casino offering. The leaderboards can be made available to all players or can target specific segments.

Qualification for a leaderboard can also be linked to Playtech’s recently rolled-out Player Journey tool. Player Journey is a central component of the software provider’s Engagement Centre as it arms operators with everything they need to engage with each individual player at crucial points and guide them towards specific goals in real time.

Mansion Sees High Player Uptake

Playtech said that Mansion, one of its many operator partners, was among the early adopters of its updated leaderboards solutions. The provider noted that the online gambling operator has “seen particularly high player uptake for a competition” thanks to the solution.

The operator built a competition around Playtech’s widely popular Fire Blaze jackpot series, which currently includes six titles and has two more releases in the pipeline. The series is based around the Hold and Respin mechanic that offers players a shot at four in-game jackpots in each of the titles available.

Commenting on Playtech’s leaderboards solution, Mansion Head of Casino Chris Mousdell said that “as well as being a valuable engagement tool, it’s flexibility of the leaderboards that has impressed us”.

Mr. Mousdell went on to say that they can engage with a large audience in the most relevant and responsible manner thanks to ability of Playtech’s product to “award spot prizes, target promotions to specific players segments, and limit qualifying bet amounts.”

Playtech VP of Product Strategy Anthony Evans said that player engagement and the ability to deliver an enhanced experience to online casino players stands at the core of their product development strategy and that it is gratifying to see a major operator like Mansion actively embrace their leaderboards solution.

Mr. Evans added that leaderboards tap into “a natural competitive streak” in many players and not just because of the chance to win prizes but also because of the excitement of topping the leaderboard.
