Las Vegas Heat Wave May Close Pools

The Coronavirus couldn’t keep the city closed, but the current Las Vegas heat wave may keep guests out of pools. Temperatures in Nevada have soared to more than 110 degrees in the valley.

Meanwhile, Governor Sisolak strongly urged people at public pools to follow the state’s directive to wear face coverings. Last week he announced that bars would return to Phase 1 of the Nevada recovery plan followed by an announcement that pools and gyms are also in his sights for a reversion.
