Casino News

Late last week, partypoker completed a large update to its US network. The changes took place at partypoker US, BetMGM Poker and Borgata Poker. US players now have access to a streamlined look with more customizable options. The new features take place as the online poker network is set to enter Pennsylvania and Michigan online poker markets.

New Changes:

Several changes took place over the network, including the new table layout and more customization. Players can create a look they like while sitting at the poker table. There are also new tournament offerings, providing players with more options to compete in.

A big change involves the option to display tournament chip stacks in association with big blinds. This is a helpful function for poker tournament gameplay. However, the run it twice option was noticeably missing from the update and something that remains an option only for international players.

Launching Soon:

The reboot comes at a time when online poker is thriving in the US and growing. In New Jersey, Delaware, Nevada, and Pennsylvania, online poker continues to hit high revenue numbers month after month.

Partypoker is about to launch in Pennsylvania which will provide them with one more market to offer services. It is expected that the license for Roar, the company behind party, will be reviewed at a meeting by the Gaming Control Board in August. So, it is expected that party will be ready to go in the state by next month or September.

The brand is also preparing to launch in Michigan. Online casino and poker gaming should be ready to go by late this year or early next year. Partypoker and BetMGM are already good to go in the state due to the MGM Grand in Detroit.
