Brazil’s Yuri Dzivieleski became the latest player to find WSOP gold at GGPoker after shipping Event #42: $400 PLOSSUS for a huge payout of $227,557.
This is not all, as in addition to the prize money and the WSOP bracelet Dzivieleski also won an added WSOP Europe package valued at $15,000 for being the last player standing.
Dzivielevski is no stranger to both online and live poker success. He is currently ranked in fifth place in the world for online tournament players according to PocketFives where he was ranked top of the worldwide leaderboard several times in 2014 and 2015.
In addition to his now more than $7 million in online tournament cashes, Dzivielevski has proven himself on the live felts as well with nearly $1.2 million in live cashes. Estonia’s Ranno Sootla Wins Event #41: COLOSSUS for $595,930
Ranno Sootla has Estonia’s first WSOP bracelet in Event #41: COLOSSUS after defeating start-of-day chip leader Paraskevas Tsokaridis heads-up. Sootla takes home $595,930 and a WSOP Europe Package after topping the 12,747-player field, and finished off proceedings with a lightning-fast 90-minute final table.
Runner-up Tsokaridis had dominated large portions of the final table; he was responsible for half of all the eliminations and came into heads-up with a close to 2:1 chip lead.
However, Sootla bided his time and dominated the early proceedings heads-up, winning 12 of the first 15 hands to move into the lead. Tsokaridis would double heads-up, but failed to mount any comeback, eventually succumbing to the Estonian’s pocket kings and having to settle for second place.

Sung Joo “ArtePokerTV” Hyun Wins First Bracelet in Event #46: $500 Deepstack NLHE ($161,898)
It took just over 11 hours of play to determine the latest champion in the 2020 GGPoker World Series of Poker Online Bracelet Events and it was Sung Joo “ArtePokerTV” Hyun that topped a field of 2,307 entries in Event #46: $500 Deepstack No Limit Hold’em to claim his first gold bracelet and top prize of $161,898.
Hyun defeated China’s Yiduo “Tr1pTripM” Yu in heads-up to claim the lion’s share of the $1,095,825 prize pool. However, it wasn’t the biggest cash prize in his poker career so far. Two years ago, Hyun was very close to winning poker’s most prestigious prize when he reached the final table in Event #68: $1,000+111 The Little One for One Drop. Out of 4,732 entries, the South Korean finished in 4th place and took home $189,098.
Two years later, the trip to Las Vegas was not possible and instead Hyun emerged victorious on the virtual felt instead. Many poker players with South Korean heritage have a dual nationality and travel in order to play poker as that is not allowed by law on home soil in the popular casinos in Incheon and Jeju. Hyun follows into the footsteps of Sejin Park and Sean Yu to become the third WSOP bracelet winner for his home country.
The final table also featured Nikita Kuznetsov, Jens Kerper, Wei Zhao and Yesha Punjabi, with the latter usually calling the Crown Casino in Melbourne as her home base for live poker.
