22 Flights, Three Bullets, $25,000,000 in guaranteed prize money
A whopping 22 starting flights gives players ample opportunity to work out the best possible time for them to take their shot. But there’s a catch: only a maximum of three bullets per player are allowed. You have a shot, a mulligan, and a final attempt. Three strikes? You’re out! As an additional note, reentering into the same flight is not allowed.
Each starting flight will play 15 levels before the cut to Day 2 is made. All flights except Flight U and V will feature 30-minute levels, while the last two flights feature 20-minute levels. Late registration will be open for 10 levels (300 minutes in flights A-T and 200 minutes in flights U & V).
From August 16-23, one daily starting flight at 7 p.m. GMT will take place. A second starting flight will be added at 2 p.m. from August 24-29. On August 30, two flights will kick off at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. before the start of Day 2 later that night.
Here’s everything you need to know to compete at GGPoker
Day 2 will continue on Sunday, August 30 at 6:30 p.m. GMT, and will play down until 40 players are remaining before hard-stopping. The final 40 will then return on Saturday, September 5 to play down to a champion and divide the lion’s share of the $25,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.
GGPoker ambassador Daniel Negreanu has announced he’ll be using his first bullet on Monday and will stream the action on his channels. Meanwhile, players like Michael Addamo, Connor Drinan, and Belarmino de Souza have already been spotted in the first flight.
