Online gambling software solutions provider Gaming Innovation Group (GiG) has inked a long-term agreement with Irish casino operator Slotbox Limited to power the latter’s debut into the online gaming space.

Under the terms of the deal, GiG will provide its new partner with its iGaming platform (PAM), omni-channel digital gambling solution and front-end development tools in a bid to support the launch of Slotbox’s online casino.

GiG Primed for Buenos Aires Expansion with Grupo Slots iGaming Platform Deal

Slotbox was founded by a team of casino industry experts who used their experience to turn the company into one of the leading gaming and casino operators in the Republic of Ireland. The Dublin-based company currently runs eight gaming properties across the country, each offering a wide variety of gaming options.

Slotbox’s online gaming operation will run under the same name. The operator will take GiG’s omni-channel solution to bring together its online and offline units and provide players with the opportunity to join from a single point of registration and use a shared wallet and loyalty system for a seamless experience while navigating between digital and retail.

The agreement between GiG and its latest client is based on a combination of fixed fees and a revenue share structure. Slotbox is expected to launch its online casino in Ireland by the end of the year. GiG said that it expects its partnership with the Irish operator to make a positive contribution to its revenue from 2021 onwards.

A Great Opportunity for Both Parties

Commenting on the upcoming launch of their online casino and their alliance with GiG, Slotbox Head of Marketing John Doyle said that they are focused on “building loyalty and value with our customers” through a combination with “excellent digital products, operational excellence, technological leadership and great service.”

Mr. Doyle went on that they look forward to continuing to innovate and build on the success they already enjoy in Ireland through their partnership with GiG and to being able to “deliver a first-class omni-channel experience” to their players.

GiG CEO Richard Brown said that teaming up with Slotbox, which has an extensive experience and presence across the Irish land-based casino market provides “a great opportunity for both parties” and that they look forward to delivering their online iGaming solution and omni-channel experience to Slotbox’s customers.

GiG’s CEO further noted that their alliance and their player-first focus “will drive a top class product” and will additionally enhance GiG’s track record of extending established land-based casino operations online.

Last month, GiG announced that it would enter Hungary’s iGaming through a platform partnership with local land-based operator Casino Win. The company will power Casino Win’s debut in the Hungarian iGaming space.
