NetEnt has further expanded its presence in Pennsylvania’s regulated online gaming market after integrating its content with The Cordish Companies’ recently launched PlayLive! online casino.
The Swedish online casino content supplier announced Monday that its collection of globally popular online slots and table games are now live on PlayLive!.
Players can now access some of NetEnt’s most popular casino titles, including local hits Starburst, Gonzo’s Quest, and Divine Fortune, the progressive jackpot slot that has awarded a host of six-figure awards to lucky Pennsylvania players since it first became available in the Keystone State in the summer of 2019.
PlayLive! is the Pennsylvania-facing online gaming operation of Baltimore-based real estate developer and gaming and entertainment group The Cordish Companies. The online casino site was launched in August. It is powered by US-focused gambling software provider GAN Limited.
PlayLive! was the first branded casino website to be launched by The Cordish Companies ahead of the upcoming opening of the operator’s two new land-based casinos in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia. Live! Casino Pittsburgh is set to open doors late in 2020, while its larger sister property, Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia is scheduled for early 2021 launch.
Pennsylvania Expansion
The launch of NetEnt’s content with PlayLive! marks another important milestone in the content supplier’s US expansion strategy and further strengthens its foothold in Pennsylvania’s fast-growing online gaming market.
News about the provider’s partnership and successful integration with PlayLive! emerge shortly after it unveiled a partnership with Wind Creek Hospitality, the operator of Wind Creek Bethlehem in the Pennsylvania city of Bethlehem. Under that earlier partnership, NetEnt has been able to roll out its content with Wind Creek’s online casino operation.
Of their recent launch with PlayLive!, Bryan Kraft, Vice President Commercial at NetEnt Americas said that they expect the online casino to be a “major contender” in Pennsylvania’s digital gambling market and that they are proud to be supporting The Cordish Companies in its new venture.
Mr. Kraft went on to say that the diversity of their online slots and table games makes sure there is something for everyone and that this will help the operator to “cross-sell to its existing land-based player base and attract new audiences.”
PlayLive! Vice President of Marketing Brian Uran said that as one of the first suppliers to go live in the Pennsylvania market, NetEnt’s portfolio of gaming titles is a must-have for any operator looking to compete in the local online gaming space and that teaming up with the Swedish supplier was a priority for the launch of their PlayLive! online casino.
