Live Casino specialist Evolution (formerly Evolution Gaming) has recently launched its entire Live Casino portfolio in Colombia to become the first provider of this type of content in the local market.
As part of a partnership with Zamba.co, a locally licensed online gambling operation, Evolution’s entire range of Live Casino games, including popular casino classics, game show-style games, and Spanish-speaking tables, are available to Zamba’s players.
Zamba is the result of a joint venture between Vicca Group, a Bogotá-headquartered gaming and entertainment group, and Belgian online casino platform provider GAMING1. The business offers online casino and sports betting products in Colombia via its Zamba.co site.
It obtained its license to operate in Colombia in 2017, or about a year after the country regulated its online gambling market and began issuing licenses to interested operators.
Commenting on their partnership with Evolution and the launch of the provider’s Live Casino range with Zamba, Vicca Group CEO Rodrigo Afanador said that following the reorganization of the Colombian market, they are now “ideally positioned to lead the way in online services, while also leveraging our long-established leading position in the land-based casino market.”
Vicca Group has been running brick-and-mortar gambling establishments around Colombia since the 1990s.
Mr. Afanador went on to say that through their partnership with Evolution, Zamba has gained access to “a fantastic range of world-class solutions” that will further enhance their core suite of products and services from GAMING1 and that the addition of Evolution’s Live Casino games will help Zamba establish itself as the “online casino market leader in Colombia.”
Delighted to Enter Colombia
Of their Live Casino debut in Colombia, Johan Nordstrom, Chief Executive Malta and Chief Commercial Officer at Evolution, said that they are delighted to have entered the local market with Zamba at such an exciting time and that their portfolio of Live Casino titles is the “perfect fit to add to Zamba’s offering.”
Mr. Nordstrom added that Evolution recently also rolled out its First Person games suite in Colombia and the titles have performed extremely well in the market, and that they are now looking forward to releasing their products with more locally licensed operators in the coming months.
Evolution first announced plans to launch its First Person titles in Colombia this past June when the company unveiled a partnership with Rush Street Interactive. The operator’s local brand, RushBet.co, went live with the casino supplier’s products not long after.
The rollout included Evolution’s First Person Roulette, Lightning Roulette, Blackjack, Dream Catcher, Baccarat, and Mega Ball titles.
