Tennessee Sports Betting Arrives with Four Operators

Tennessee sports betting was approved over a year ago. Now, as the launch date is upon us, the state has approved four gambling operators for the state: BetMGM, DraftKings, FanDuel and Tennessee Action 24/7.

State law will permit betting on sporting events over the internet, including mobile devices. A customer must be at least 21 years old to play and physically located in Tennessee at the time a wager is placed.

Sports betting analyst Brian Pempus said he believes it will bring visitors to the state. “I think you’re going to see people traveling into Tennessee from Alabama, Georgia.
