The market leading sports and gaming entertainment company BetMGM kicks off the new year by launching their betting app in Iowa. The announcement was made in conjunction with Diamond Jo Casino in Dubuque’s historic downtown district.
The betting customers in Iowa are faced with two exciting news for the past week. First the sports betting operator William Hill launched an enhanced version of its Sports Book App and on Jan. 4 BetMGM introduced their user-friendly app and website.
The two events are important for the Iowa betting customers since legal sports betting in the state first went live in August 2019. BetMGM launches their product not so long after in-person registration was no longer required.
In late December the betting company strengthened its position in Pennsylvania by launching the same app for the betting customers in the state. After Nevada, New Jersey, Colorado, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and West Virginia, Iowa is the eight state where the sports betting app is available.
It will allow its users to have access to benefits tied to MGM Resorts’ iconic casino-resorts nationwide. According to the BetMGM CEO Adam Greenblatt, this connection allows the customers to earn awards from different award-winning hotels and restaurants while engaging with the excitement of a sports betting experience.
BetMGM is a pioneer in online gaming industry which was first launched in 2018 created from the partnership between MGM Resorts International and Entain Plc The company offers sports betting and online casino gambling using Entain’s technology and has an exclusive access to all of MGM’s U.S. land-based casinos and online sports betting and is integrated with MGM Resorts’ M life Rewards program.
About the app
This fact is important for the Iowa betting users since it allows them to redeem their gameplay at all existing MGM Resorts worldwide, such as Bellagio and MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Borgata in New Jersey, Beau Rivage in Mississippi, MGM National Harbor in Maryland and others.
The BetMGM app aims to provide a more enjoyable experience for its users who can easily customize pre-game, live in-play, futures and parlay wagers. It is available for the users of iOS and Android and can also be downloaded from anyone who wants to use it on desktop.
Iowa won’t be the last state where BetMGM’s app will be launched as the company continues to expand its sport betting platforms in other states in the U.S. and to follow their main focus, which is to provide tools to help customers play responsibly.
