New Jersey Online Gambling Sets a New Record

Records are made to be broken, and New Jersey online gambling has done just that. Recently, they surpassed Nevada to take the sports betting lead in America. And now they are the first state to surpass $100 million in online gambling revenue in a month.

Sports betting in the state set a new record high of $82 million, a 54% jump from January of last year. Gamblers bet over $945 million on sporting events for the month, down from the previous record $996 million in December of 2020.

Online casino revenue reached a record high for the month with a total of nearly $104 million, which was 88% more than the $55 million last year.
