ogonet and SEMrush released new traffic data of global and regional online gambling and gaming for the month of January, 2021.
According to global data of top gambling websites by traffic, bet365.com still keeps the undisputed first place with 244.50 M users, up 2.21% from December. Caliente.mx returned to second place thanks to a monthly growth of 15.4% and a significant drop of 18.3% for netkeiba.com, which fell to the fourth place with 70.35 million users. The third position was taken by jra.go.jp, which declined by 7.7%.
January’s regional data for the US sees the leading Florida Lottery (flalottery.com) up by 3.2% from December with 20.7 million users. It was followed by the Lottery Post (lotterypost.com), which saw an increase of 13.1% to 12.6 M, overtaking the Texas Lottery (txlottery.org), up 2.4%.
UK’s top three gambling websites by traffic saw negative trends compared to the prior month. Bet365 led the ranking again with 19.6 million users, down 7.8%. Skybet came next with 16.5 million, a decline of 6.6%. William Hill kept the third place with 14.7 million users, a monthly drop of 8.8%.
As for the LatAm market, bet365.com led the regional ranking in Brazil with 119.2 million users in January, up 4% from the prior month. It was followed by Ojogodobicho.com, which grew by 12.7% hosting 74.4 million users. Still very far behind them, sportingbet.com kept the third place with 7.4 million, down 2.1% from December.
In Mexico, with a 15.4% growth in January, Caliente.mx easily kept the first place with 99.6 million users. Codere.mx saw an increase of 5% and came second though very far, with 6.7 million, while strendus.com.mx took the third position with 309,434 users, a 18% growth.
Colombia’s online gambling traffic ranking saw Wplay.co come on top with 21.7 M users, down 12.4% from December. It was followed by betplay.com.co, which saw a significant decline by nearly 20% and hosted 14.8 million. They were followed far behind by rushbet.co with 3 million, up 13%.
In Peru, bet365 took the lead again with 3.19 M users in January, up nearly 5%. It was followed by teapuesto.pe, which reported flat numbers from December. Inkabet.pe came third with 1.96 million users, down nearly 14%.
