French online gambling operator JOA has announced that it would now operate as JOABET in a full-scale rebrand aligned with the recent launch of its digital sports betting offering.
The operator further noted that the rebrand also coincides with the recent integration of engagement tools by Belgian gambling operator and technology provider GAMING1.
In a press release announcing the changes to its operations, JOABET explained that thanks to its partnership with GAMING1, it now offers engagement-driving features such as odds Boosters and network Tournaments to its online casino players and sports bettors.
The operator further noted that the recent change of name reflects the “high-tech updates” made to the platform that powers its operations as well as its ambitions to establish itself as the new leader in the provision of online sportsbook experience in France.
JOABET and GAMING1 first teamed up three years ago. The French operator says the provider has played a key role in its operations and growth since their partnership was first announced.
Founded in 2011 in Belgium, GAMING1 has become one of the leading gambling operators in its homeland. It runs more than 43 gaming halls and casinos in Belgium, Switzerland, and France as well as multiple online casinos and sportsbooks in a number of regulated markets. The company also produces online gambling content and related software solutions and works with multiple clients, including JOABET.
Excited for Benefits Rebrand will Bring
Of their recent rebrand, JOABET Vice President Damien Dufort said that they are hugely excited to take this step and anticipate enormous benefits that this move will bring from a “marketing, technical, and communications perspective.”
Mr. Dufort further revealed that the decision for the rebrand was made early this year and that they have no doubt their team’s hard work will continue to bear fruit in the years to come. Of their partner, the official said they are grateful to GAMING1 for its continued support and that they are confident their “productive relationship will maintain its success through 2021 and beyond.”
Sylvain Boniver, COO at GAMING1, said that they are proud how crucial their role has been for helping JOABET get its planned rebrand off ground.
The official went on to say that they have delivered technical assistance that was second-to-none to help their partner “deliver fantastic new features such as the odds Booster and network Tournaments” and that they have no doubt that the French operator will continue to go from strength to strength and “can’t wait to stand beside them as they do.”
Based in Lyon, JOA Group, JOABET’s parent organization, is the second largest casino operator in France. It runs 33 properties around the country and a Gaming Club in Paris. As mentioned above, it has also bolstered its Internet gambling offering with the launch of a brand new online sportsbook.
