Spearhead Studios, the game development arm of online gambling group EveryMatrix, has signed an online casino content distribution agreement with major technology company Playtech.
As part of the recently penned agreement, Spearhead Studios’ entire portfolio of gaming titles will soon become available to Playtech’s network of operator partners via the Playtech Games Marketplace.
Established in the fall of 2019, Spearhead Studios specializes in the development and supply of online slots and table games for operators providing their services in regulated markets. The iGaming studio currently has over 35 titles and its portfolio keeps growing constantly.
Spearhead Studios currently works with more than 100 online casino operators in a number of jurisdictions across Europe and Latin America. Most recently, its games range was rolled out in the United Kingdom. The company is also set to soon go live in the US and other regulated territories.
In addition, its games are available via several tier-one casino content aggregators, including Microgaming, ORYX Gaming, and United Remote, among others.
News about the studio’s partnership with Playtech emerge days after it unveiled its first video poker title – Jacks or Better. The new release offers a mobile-portrait optimized gameplay and excellent UX. Its RTP stands at 99.54%. It offers players the opportunity to play with 5, 10, 25, 50, or even 100 hands with the chance to scoop up to €400,000 in winnings for bets of €5 per hand.
A Statement of Content’s Quality
Commenting on their latest partnership, Spearhead Studios Managing Director Mathias Larsson said that Playtech is a household name in the world of iGaming with an extensive client network in all major regulated markets around the globe.
Mr. Larsson added that making their games available on the Playtech Games Marketplace is “a statement of our quality content” and that they are very excited to start their partnership with the major industry provider.
Playtech Casino Director James Frendo said that their focus is to always deliver world-class online casino software to their operator partners and that the integration of Spearhead Studios’ content into their “burgeoning portfolio” marked another step in supporting their partners in “delivering the best possible casino experience to their players.”
This is the latest of a series of big announcements made by Playtech in recent weeks. Last month, the company ventured further into the Swiss iGaming market through a content supply deal with Casinò Lugano, the oldest gambling establishment in the lucrative Italian-Swiss region.
It was in March again when Playtech revealed that it has secured a long-term lease for its first Live Casino studio in Michigan and the United States, as a whole. The studio will feature the company’s advanced Live Casino technology and will mirror the video capabilities of its flagship Live Casino facility in Riga.
