Greentube, a B2B service provider that is part of the larger NOVOMATIC Interactive group, has emerged as the winner in a highly competitive tender to supply Luxembourg’s state-run Loterie Nationale with its omni-channel solution, Greentube Plurius.
Luxembourg’s National Lottery selected Greentube as the winning bidder in an extensive public procurement process that included a number of other leading providers of omni-channel lottery software.
Greentube has won a seven-year contract with the option for it to be extended for a further five years. This contract will see the provider’s Greentube Plurius solution power the lottery agency’s operations and will enable it to combine its land-based, online, and mobile VLT operations, while significantly strengthening its existing offering.
Greentube Plurius provides B2B suppliers as well as casino and VLT operators with the opportunity to connect their land-based lottery terminals to the core system and retrieve games that players then play on an online game server.
Operators can launch games online and across land-based establishments simultaneously. As for players, they can play with a single account across all supported verticals. Greentube’s software solution also offers secure and quick deposits, cross-channel promotions, and player tracking and protection through a slew of responsible gaming features.
Greentube Plurius can easily be adapted to particular lottery markets, jurisdictions, and customer needs. With this solution operators are offered access to real-time monitoring and accounting tools, including but not limited to financial data, product usage, and game stats.
Full Integration by the end of 2021
Greentube said that it anticipates to fully integrate its solution with Loterie Nationale Luxembourg later this year.
The tiny nation is the latest European territory where Greentube Plurius is set to soon become available. The company already successfully provides its product to several national lottery operators across the continent, including Austria, Greece, and Norway. The solution is also used across the pond by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation in Canada.
Commenting on their latest lottery-related milestone, Greentube COO Georg Gubo said that they are delighted to be awarded this important contract in Luxembourg as it “validates the competitiveness of our offering and demonstrates that we are a trusted supplier to the industry.”
Léon Losch, CEO of Loterie Nationale Luxembourg, said that they are pleased to choose Greentube Plurius as the solution that not only meets “our immediate requirements and future-proof Responsible Gambling methods for all players online and land based, but also provides a long-term partnership to support our evolving needs.”
Greentube last week announced that it would further strengthen its Swiss presence with a partnership with local gambling venue Casinò Lugano.
