Play’n GO releases new “social mobile style” online slot: Pack & Cash

Casino News

Adding to its expansive online slots portfolio, Swedish gaming software provider Play’n GO has launched its latest title, Pack & Cash, where players are hard at work at a fun new delivery service company, and wins of up to 10,000x the bet are possible!

The uniquely themed “social mobile style game” takes place in a busy warehouse where animated forklifts and overhead conveyors move packages from one area to another. Playable on any device, this 5-reel slot, with 1,024 pay ways is volatile and has a 96.20 percent RTP.

Game Symbols:

Light and airy symbols packed with character are delivered from right to left and include 9-A card values, packaged footballs, rubber ducks, trophies, and candies in heart-shaped boxes. Landing a line of five card values pays up to 0.4 the stake, while players earn 0.8 to 3 times the bet for the same number of premiums.

Trumping them all is the cash-filled suitcase ‘W’ wild symbol which pays 5 times the stake for five of a kind. In addition to being the most lucrative, the W suitcase also substitutes for all symbols, with scatters being the only exception, and can appear on all reels.

Feature-rich:

Full of fun features, the developer‘s fast-paced game sees an innovative sideways symbol cascading mechanic that brings something different to the ordinary top-to-bottom cascade players are used to seeing.

On each spin, 20 colorful symbols are deposited onto the 5×4-conveyor, with three or more matching symbols landing next to the other from the left, sees winning combinations drop off and new symbols filling in the empty spaces for new wins to be potentially formed. The process repeats so long as new wins are created, while at the same time, a win increases by one whenever winning symbols are removed, resetting again prior to the start of each spin (but not if extra spins are triggered).

Players will want to be mindful of Express Package mystery symbols that can appear randomly on any initial spin – paid or extra. When the Express Packages land on the reels, they transform to reveal the identical random symbol, which could be anything except for the scatter. Anywhere between 3 – 8 Express Packages may appear.

The Special Delivery feature is triggered randomly on any non-winning spin. When that happens, 1 of 2 effects takes place, with each guaranteeing a new winning combination. The effects are playable in any order multiple times a spin, with up to 3 per spin limit. Effects include:

  • Extra Wild – one symbol is added to a random spot anywhere on the first three reels – from the left of the game grid
  • Symbol Remover – random symbols, except for Wild and Scatter, are removed from the grid (win multiplier is not increased).

Scatters & Extra Spins:

If at least three Scatter symbols land, the Extra Spins feature is triggered. Determining how many initial spins are awarded depends on the location of the Scatter symbols. Anywhere from 3 – 20 may be awarded, with one spin awarded for each horizontal right-step taken per Scatter.

During Extra Spins, the win multiplier is carried over and is reset upon completion of the feature – there is no max multiplier. For each Scatter symbol, additional Extra Spins are awarded, which is also determined by where each of the respective Scatter symbols are located. A maximum of 75 Extra Spins may be awarded.

Social mobile style:

Head of Games for Play’n GO, Charlotte Miliziano used a company presser to comment on the new game…

“We love narratives and games series, but social mobile style games like Pack & Cash are so much fun to work on. It’s great being able to experiment with different layouts and designs to impress our players. It’s colourful, fast-paced and super rewarding.”

Out now, the Växjö-headquartered provider designed Pack & Cash to be lighthearted and fun. And while other games in Play’n GO’s growing portfolio are more realistic in their approach, this one is reminiscent of popular social mobile games such as The Sims and Farmville.

Fans can expect Play’n GO to drop its next big hit, Hotel Yeti-Way, on July 15th!
