Online casino content provider ORYX Gaming, part of the larger Bragg Gaming Group, has strengthened its presence in Greece’s recently reorganized iGaming market after taking its products live with Novibet.
News about ORYX’s integration and launch with the locally popular online casino and sports betting brand emerge just weeks after the company obtained a B2B supplier license from the Hellenic Gaming Commission.
ORYX’s partnership with Novibet has seen the content provider further expand its reach and exposure in the Greek online gaming space.
Earlier this year, Greece adopted several important changes to the way online casino services should be provided in the country. Under these newly introduced rules, the maximum bet on any locally authorized online slot is capped at €2 per spin.
Additionally, players have to wait for at least three seconds between spins. As per another rule, the maximum prize an online casino game can award is maxed out at €70,000 per round. All iGaming operators and content makers were required to adjust their offering to meet the new requirements and to be awarded new licenses from the Greek gambling regulator in order to be able to conduct activities and offer products in the local market.
New Partnership Covers Other Markets, Too
ORYX’s partnership with Novibet has seen the gambling operator, one of the largest in Greece, go live with a selection of the provider’s extensive collection of casino titles.
Under the terms of the deal, Novibet is also set to go live with ORYX’s content in the UK and Italy by the end of the year. The provider has previously stated that it intends to enter these two markets as part of its strategy to increase its exposure in regulated territories across Europe, North America, and globally.
ORYX expects to soon receive its license from the UK Gambling Commission that will allow it to offer its products in the local market. The company is set to also have its first batch of games certified for the Italian market later this year.
Commenting on their partnership with Novibet, Bragg Gaming CCO Chris Looney said that they have hit the ground running in the Greek market and that this alliance with Novibet is significant for ORYX as it takes its content live with one of Greece’s largest brands.
Mr. Looney went on to note that as well as strengthening their position in Greece, the deal will also provide “ample opportunity for ORYX in the future, with our partnership set to expand into other regulated markets.”
ORYX recently celebrated expansion in another important market thanks to an integration with a local operator. The supplier had teamed up with AdmiralBet to launch its products with the operator in Serbia where it already boasts strong presence.
