Jake Schindler came out victorious at Tuesday’s final table of the Stairway to Millions $287,500. He beat a field of 25 entrants in the series’ sixth event at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas on Tuesday.
The first ever Stairway to Millions will wrap up Thursday with the conclusion of the $100,000 finale. On top of the Event #6 final table, the Aria Resort and Casino also hosted Day 1 of Event #7, a $52,000 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament.
In the $50k, 21 players entered and the field dwindled down to three by the end of the first session. Reigning PokerGO Tour and Global Poker Index Player of the Year Ali Imsirovic holds a 2-1 chip lead over Nick Petrangelo and Chris Brewer. The final table will air on PokerGO starting at 1 p.m. Wednesday, and the winner will take home $567,000.

Schindler Continues to Crush
Jake Schindler is one of the most consistent and dominant live tournament players in the world. And he’s done it again with another big victory inside the PokerGO Studio.
He now has over $28.6 million in lifetime live tournament cashes, good for 15th on the all-time money list and 11th among Americans. Schindler has been crushing it in the toughest high rollers for years. Daniel Negreanu has said that he’s the best live tournament player in the world. If he isn’t, he’s certainly right up there along with the likes of Stephen Chidwick, Alex Foxen, and Justin Bonomo.
Schindler had to earn this win against a final table that included three of the best players in the world. Sean Winter, who has become a regular contender in high rollers the past few years, took fourth place ($62,500). Foxen, the 2018 and 2019 GP Player of the Year, busted in third place ($100,000), and then Schindler defeated another high-stakes legend in Nick Petrangelo heads-up ($175,000).
