Radoja Banks $96K as Pavlovic Reels in His Biggest GGPoker Score

Poker News

Mark Radoja enjoyed a super Sunday at GGPoker thanks to taking down the $1,050 Sunday High Rollers Main Event for more than $96,000. It was also a Sunday to remember for GG Twitch Squad member Hristivoje “ALLinPav” Pavlovic, who reeled in his largest-ever GGPoker prize.

Radoja added the $1,050 Sunday High Rollers Main Event title to his long list of poker accomplishments. Some 526 players bought in and created a $526,000 prize pool, of which $96,173 is now nestled in Radoja’s GGPoker account.

All but one of the nine finalists received a five-figure sum for their efforts. Aram Oganyan came close to a $10,000+ prize, but ninth-place came with a $9,617 addition to his bankroll.

Austria’s “SiemaChuj” and Ukrainian star Andrii Derzhypilskyi were the next two players to fall by the wayside. They collected $12,824 and $17,102 for their efforts. “crush t0ads” saw their tournament hopes, well, crushed, in sixth, a finish good for $22,806.

Rayan Chamas
Rayan Chamas eventually fell in second place.

Fifth place and $30,412 went to Krasimir Yankov before “AliRC” of New Zealand ran out of steam in fourth, which earned them $40,555.

The final three players fought it out for the right to call themselves the tournament’s champion. Jans Arends‘ quest for glory was stopped in its tracks in third place. Arends will be bitterly disappointed not to have won, but the $50,482 he banked will go some way to numbing the pain.

Heads-up pitted Radoja against Rayan “Beriuzy” Chamas, a player who is in the middle of a purple patch of form, and one who recently put pen to paper on a GGPoker contract. Chamas almost repaid GGPoker’s faith in him with a victory, but fell at the final hurdle. Second place came with $72,119, which left Radoja to collect the $96,173 top prize.

Ustimov Outs Pavlovic in the $525 Bounty Hunters HR Main Event

The $525 Bounty Hunters HR Main Event continues to prove popular, with this week’s edition seeing 2,445 entrants and a $1,222,500 prize pool. Almost 10% of that princely sum is now owned by Viktor Ustimov, who came out on top after a long grind.

The bounty element of the tournament meant everyone at the final table saw their initial investments swell to over $11,000. Seasoned grinders such as the ISPT Wembley champion Jakub “Janusz1957PL” Michalak, and Bartek Machon reached the star-studded final table but fell short of becoming the tournament’s champion.

Eventually, Ustimov found himself heads-up against GGPoker’s Hristivoje “ALLinPav” Pavlovic for the title and a monster-sized final bounty. Try as he may, Pavlovic couldn’t quite get the job done and fell in second place. Pavlovic collected $62,039, which is his largest score at GGPoker so far.

Ustimov received $120,720 for his win, of which more than $70,000 came from the various bounties he collected on the road to victory.
