Bare Pool Lounge at Mirage No Longer Topless

Industry

Well this sucks. The Bare Pool Lounge at the Mirage has decided that if the volcano must go, then so must bare breasts. So if you weren’t bummed out by the sale of the resort to Hard Rock, maybe this will push you in the right direction.

Most of you know that the Mirage has undergone the change in ownership. Now it seems that Hard Rock has adopted a more conservative approach. As a result, the option for topless sunbathing at the pool has been eliminated. Despite the new policy, still maintains an age restriction of 21 and above.

The exact reason for the decision to discontinue any topless swimming at the Bare Pool Lounge has not been disclosed. Speculations arise that the decline in business might have influenced the decision, but it is more likely that the open display of nudity by the poolside did not align with the desired atmosphere of Hard Rock International. It’s worth noting that Hard Rock International is owned by the Seminole tribe.

In 2025, the Mirage will undergo a significant renovation, transforming into the Hard Rock establishment and featuring a new hotel tower shaped like a guitar. Although we may not personally prioritize pool activities, we do appreciate the freedom of topless sunbathing. In Las Vegas, Wynn, Encore, and Mandalay Bay still offer European-style pools that allow toplessness.

However, this may not be restricted to the Bare Pool Lounge. In fact, it appears that the list of topless pools in Las Vegas is falling fast. In addition, the Hard Rock will remove the popular volcano feature to make room for their guitar shaped hotel tower. So far, it sure seems that they are moving in some odd directions… even if change is the only thing constant in Las Vegas.
