International Game Technology (IGT) announced Tuesday that its Wheel of Fortune slots awarded three million-dollar-plus jackpots in May, totaling more than $6.3 million combined for the month. The jackpots were as follows:

On May 2, a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $1,215,041 playing Wheel of Fortune High Roller at Ho-Chunk Gaming Nekoosa in Nekoosa, Wisconsin.

Meanwhile, on May 19, a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $2,914,518 playing Wheel of Fortune Pink Diamond at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

Last but not least, on May 26, a Wheel of Fortune slots player won $2,198,173 playing Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin Triple Gold MegaTower at ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada

Wheel of Fortune slots have minted over 1,100 millionaires and awarded over $3.4 billion in jackpots since their launch in 1996. In April, IGT’s Wheel of Fortune, Megabucks, and Powerbucks slots awarded three jackpots totaling more than $17 million.

The Wheel of Fortune slot is inspired by the popular Wheel of Fortune TV program, which reaches more than 25 million weekly viewers. Trademarked as America’s Game, it has earned seven Emmy Awards including a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Game/Audience Participation Show.

Earlier this month, IGT signed a ten-year licensing agreement with Sony Pictures Television that grants the company exclusive rights to the Wheel of Fortune brand across gaming, lottery, iGaming, and iLottery and non-exclusive rights to distribute Wheel of Fortune content for free-to-play social casinos. The contract will run from January 1, 2025, to December 31, 2034.

Moreover, IGT introduced this year the first omnichannel wide area progressive (WAP) jackpot in the US via a Wheel of Fortune slots link in New Jersey. The company noted that this will enable players in the Garden State to spin for large-scale wins on games with combined jackpot liquidity between the land-based, mobile, and online versions of IGT’s Wheel of Fortune slots.
