As the 2023 Las Vegas Grand Prix is waiting for the starting gun on Sunday, November 19, 2023,  MoneyGram Haas F1 Team seems to be adding some winning ingredients into the fuel tank. The partnership with pioneering game development company Play’n GO announced on November 16 may add power for both teams to get a decisive competitive advantage in the 2023 FIA Formula 1 World Championship.

First Swedish Sponsor:

Under the terms of the partnership, Play’n GO logo will ornament the side of the MoneyGram Haas VF-23 car and the team apparel in the 2023 season. It will further adorn the race suits of the F1 team drivers Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg in the 2024 Formula 1 season. The partnership will also mark the first main sponsor of a Formula 1 team coming from Sweden after a long time.

Extending Reach:

Play’n GO, as a globally recognized content supplier to the casino industry, will use the partnership to extend its reach to another highly regulated environment. The extension of a regulated gaming industry to the Formula 1 world targets to expand the company’s player pool beyond the current half a million count. At the same time, the partnership marks another milestone in its operations just a few days after the supplier recorded more than quarter of billion rounds played on its platform.

Johan Törnqvist, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Play’n GO reportedly commented: “F1 is one of the premier global entertainment properties, where sport and technology are pushed ever forward in one of the most highly regulated and thrilling competitions in the world. We believe that entertainment, combined with strong regulation and innovation, will allow the gaming industry to continue to flourish for many years to come. Our partnership with the MoneyGram Haas F1 Team will introduce our games to a whole new global audience, and we are thrilled to be a part of Haas’ journey to drive forward performance and innovation both on and off the track.”

Guenther Steiner, Team Principal of MoneyGram Haas F1 Team reportedly added: “We’re delighted to be working with Play’n GO, a global leader in the gaming industry. The scale of their ambition matches ours perfectly – striving for progress through integrity, innovation and entertainment. They are a true global player, who are leading the way in the expansion of the gaming sector right here in America too. I’m certain we’ll be able to showcase the excitement of Formula 1 to legions of new fans, both here at home and internationally through this partnership. Our collaboration is a long term one and I’m really looking forward to building a powerful proposition together over the course of the next few years.”

Ahead of the Sunday event, the legendary Formula 1 teams will go for a cruise through the neon heart of the city on the Las Vegas Strip from November 16 to 18, 2023.
