Nominees Announced for Next Week’s 2nd Annual Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) Awards

The Charity Series of Poker (CSOP), which was established in 2014 by Matt Stout, is entering its 11th season, and for the second year in a row they are paying tribute to the players, sponsors, staff, and volunteers from throughout the years.

They will be honored via the 2023 CSOP Awards, which is comprised of several categories including Event of the Year, Emcee of the Year, Mike Sexton Ambassador Award, Daniel Negreanu Extra Effort Award, and more.

The CSOP Awards Dinner and Tournament – which marks the CSOP’s 57th event – will take place on Tuesday, January 16 in Las Vegas at Via Brazil Steakhouse. Those wishing to attend can purchase tickets for Poker + Silent Auction + Dinner for $300, while those who don’t want to play poker can still attend for $150.

There will be $100 rebuys and add-ons, and along with final table and bounty prizes, the winner will walk away with $5,000 in cash! Dinner will start at 5:30 p.m. local time during which time awards will be presented, and the charity poker tournament will follow at 7 p.m.

Nominees Announced for Next Week’s 2nd Annual Charity Series of Poker (CSOP) Awards 102

Poker fans won’t have to wait long for the next CSOP event, as they announced the January 20 “Save the Date” for Beating The Odds benefiting St. Jude at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, New Jersey.

The event costs $225 to enter and comes with access to the silent auction and a cocktail hour. For $100, fans can get in but won’t play the tournament. There will be $225 re-entries with half the prize pool going to payouts and the other half to charity. Whoever has the chip lead at the end of registration will receive a bonus, as will the player with the most re-entries.

The cocktail hour will get underway at 6:30 p.m. local time with the tournament kicking off at 8 p.m.
