Dwan Is Back On Hustler Casino Live Soon After The Million Dollar Game

Poker News

After appearing on the Million Dollar Game last week, Tom Dwan was back on Hustler Casino Live on Wednesday for another round of action. This time, the game was a $100/$200 No-Limit Hold’em game with a $200 big blind ante.

The table was stacked with HCL high-stakes regulars, including Peter, who recently became HCL’s biggest overall winner after earning $4,938,000 across his Million Dollar Game performances last week. He was joined by players going by Pipi, Trick Time, Britney, Sashimi, Dr. H, and 3coin.

Charlie Wilmoth was in the commentary booth.

The action was fast. There was a $400k three-way all-in, Peter put in an insane 83% VPIP, and a new twist on the stand-up game kept everyone else in the action.

Dwan’s Biggest Pot Of The Night

Dwan was in for $30,000 to start, while the other players had between $20,000 and $100,000 on the table. His stack was a bit up and down (mostly down) for the first couple of hours of the show. He got into a pair of big-ish pots with Peter that were just shy of the $100k mark, but things didn’t really hot up until after the halfway mark.

Dwan’s biggest win of the night came in a straddled hand. Pipi raised to $1,200 with 98, and Dwan called with 77 on the button. Peter, in the small blind, squeezed to $7,200 with A5. Pipi folded. With position on a maniac and deep stacks ($117,500 effective), Dwan was happy to just call with his pocket sevens.

The flop was A710, and Peter came out swinging with a $5,500 bet with his top pair. Dwan raised him to $16,000, and Peter just called.

The turn was the Q giving Dwan the hand. Peter was drawing dead. Not knowing this, Peter bet out $15,000, and Dwan gave his next move some thought before raising it to $48,000. To the surprise of Wilmoth in the commentary booth, Peter eventually moved all in, and Dwan snap-called.

The dealer then dealt an irrelevant queen, giving the already victorious Dwan a full house. The final pot was $262,400, Dwan’s biggest of the evening.

Other Highlights

Tom Dwan

Tom Dwan had a good session. His massive win against Peter set him up for a nice score, even though he later lost 3/4 of a $242,600 pot to Britney in his second biggest hand of the night.

Peter almost upstaged Dwan in this session, playing fast and loose all night as he played and lost massive pots. His final VPIP for the session was 83% with a preflop raise percentage of 53%. His loose-aggressive style didn’t quite work out for him, though. Peter ended the session as the biggest loser, having donated $311,300 to his tablemates.

Peter, Britney, and Dwan even ended up in a three-way all-in together. It was the biggest pot of the night, with a total in the middle of $403,800. Britney won the main pot with Dwan and Peter splitting the side pot.

The three-way all-in was a cornerstone of Britney’s very profitable session. She was the biggest winner of the night, with $204,800 in profit.

When play ended, Britney (+$204,800) and Sashimi (+$180,900) were up the most, with Dwan (+$100,700), then 3coin (+$81,600) following. Pippi (+$65,100) was the smallest winner.

Everyone else was down, and two players had busted out — Dr. H and Trick Time exited early after losing $132,400 and $189,400, respectively.

Trick Time will at least have a shot to win it back on Friday’s stream. He will be back along with several other players from this evening, including Sashimi and Dwan. Their rematch will get underway on the Hustler Casino Live stream at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time on Friday, June 14.

You can watch Wednesday’s stream on the Hustler Casino Live Youtube channel.
