With Global Gaming Expo (G2E) Las Vegas around the corner, Zitro is preparing to showcase a wide range of new products, with the spotlight on its latest CONCEPT cabinet line. Boasting bold designs and captivating Magic Light features, Zitro’s CONCEPT cabinets represent a significant launch for the company, alongside new software titles that will also be on display.
In advance of the event, Yogonet connected with Derik Mooberry, CEO of Zitro USA, to discuss Zitro’s ambitions for G2E, their expansion into new markets, and the key trends anticipated to drive discussions at this year’s show, including the convergence of land-based and online gaming.
What new products and services will the company present and highlight at G2E this year?
As expected, Zitro has a large number of new products for this year’s G2E. The highlight of the booth will be our new CONCEPT cabinet line. It is the biggest, boldest, and brightest cabinet the company has ever launched. We expect to receive positive customer feedback around its three unique form factors and new Magic Light features, which provide new ways to captivate players’ attention. Along with the new CONCEPT cabinets, new software titles will be displayed on both our CONCEPT and GLARE cabinet offerings. Three titles are worth noting: Legendary Sword, Wonder Dream, and Triple Charm Journey.
What specific goals is the company aiming to achieve at the event, and which markets are you targeting?
At G2E, our primary focus is continuing to build on our long-term vision of becoming a global leader in the gaming industry. Over the past few years, we’ve made incredible progress, especially in the U.S., where we’ve expanded our presence to over 100 casinos—3x times what we had just two years ago. We’re also securing licenses in new jurisdictions, which will help us grow that number further in the near future.
Our tech campus in India just celebrated its first anniversary, and we’re scaling our development teams to support more projects. We’re equally proud to continue expanding our global reach. Through strategic partnerships, we’ve solidified our position in key regions like Europe, Latin America, and Asia.
One of the most exciting opportunities on the horizon is the anticipated opening of the Brazilian market. With our founder Johnny Ortiz’s deep understanding of the local player preferences from his previous work in Brazil’s Video Bingo market, we believe we’re uniquely positioned to succeed there. Our diverse product range, including Video Bingo and Video Slots, will give us a strong advantage once the market opens.
Beyond Brazil, we’re focused on expanding our Zitro Digital platform. We’re working to become the preferred supplier of gaming solutions in land-based casinos and the rapidly growing online gaming sector in regulated markets around the world.
Which major trends do you see gaining momentum in the gaming sector that you expect to be discussed at G2E?
The gaming industry is constantly evolving, and this year at G2E, I expect a lot of focus on innovation, both in hardware and software. We’re seeing more companies push the boundaries with cutting-edge cabinets and immersive features designed to captivate today’s players in new ways.
Another key trend we’ll likely see more of is land-based and online gaming convergence. With the rise of digital gaming platforms, there’s an increasing demand for seamless integration between these two worlds, allowing players to transition effortlessly between physical machines and online play.
