On December 6, PokerStars US launched the 25 Days of Poker Madness promotion on its various North American platforms.
The promotion offers players a chance to play in a series of daily tournaments with buy-ins of $25.
As part of the promotion, these daily tournaments will each have additional goodies added to the prize pool. However, just like an advent calendar, these additional prizes will be kept secret until the day of the tournament, hidden until they pop open the door.
The promotion will run until December 30 and also includes daily and weekly Texas hold’em freerolls. So with two more weeks of these freerolls and daily tournaments to go, there are still plenty of prizes to be uncovered and won.
What Can you Win?
According to PokerStars, the secret prizes in the 25 Days of Poker Madness tournaments range from money added to the prize pool to PokerStars rewards chests and tournament tickets.
The specifics of a given tournament’s prizes are revealed on the day of the event at 9 p.m. EST ahead of the tournament registration closing.
“We’re helping North American players chip up and cheer up for the holidays with 25 Days of Poker Madness,” Steve Preiss, VP of PokerStars North America, told the press, while commenting on the promotion.
“With excitement, fun, and, of course, some great rewards, this is a chance for players to come together, enjoy the game, and end the year on a winning streak.”
There are also daily and weekly freerolls running for those who don’t want to put too much at risk but still want to get in on the action.
‘Tis the Season
The 25 Days of Poker Madness is just one move in what has been a winter of big moves for PokerStars.
The company announced its partnership with the Philadelphia Flyers and its North American platforms last month and Jason Koon played his first event as part of the PokerStars ambassador team just last week at the World Series of Poker Paradise.
If players want to take advantage of this latest promotional effort, all they have to do is boot up their devices, log into their PokerStars account, and register for one of the 25 Days of Poker Madness tournaments.
The main $25 tournaments run in the evenings and are available on PokerStars Ontario* in Canada and on PokerStars Michigan, PokerStars New Jersey, and PokerStars Pennsylvania within the U.S.
Players outside of North America will not be able to participate. However, new players can still take advantage of PokerStars’s new player sign-up and deposit bonuses for a bankroll boost in the run-up to Christmas.
