Station Casinos President Killed in July 4th Accident

The Station Casinos President, Richard Haskins, was killed in a jet ski accident over the holiday weekend while on vacation in Michigan. He was 56 years old.

The accident occurred around 2 p.m. in Emmet County Michigan, where the Sheriff’s Office said Mr. Haskins was riding a Sea-Doo jet ski which collided with a Magnum powerboat.

Haskins was taken to a launch area and pronounced dead by emergency personnel. Authorities are investigating. A person from the Sheriff’s Office declined to confirm details.

The board of directors of Red Rock, Station Casinos’ parent company, plans to make further announcements regarding Haskins’ succession in the coming days, according to a statement released by the company.
