Microgaming launched this past Thursday Arthur’s Gold, the latest addition to its ever-growing portfolio of games developed exclusively by its studio partners.
The Arthur’s Gold slot is the first title crafted by Nevada-based iGaming content maker Gold Coin Studios as part of a new exclusive supply deal between the studio and Microgaming.
Arthur’s Gold is a 5×3 slot that is inspired by the adventures of King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table. The game arrives with a gleaming classic grid and is set in a medieval world of Double Symbols.
Arthur’s Gold is for all those slots aficionados that love a bit of high volatility action. The game offers 10-of-a-kind payouts and a Free Spins bonus feature that, when triggered, includes expanding wilds and respins as well as win potential of up to 4,000x the initial stake.
The new slot was launched on July 9 across Microgaming’s network of online gambling operators. This means that it is now available to a huge global customer base. Arthur’s Gold has joined Microgaming’s library of diverse content as the latest title in the provider’s July new slots releases line-up.
It should also be noted that Arthur’s Gold is part of the large number of new online casino games by Microgaming’s roster of independent studio partners to be rolled out this year.
Welcoming a New Studio Partner
Commenting on the addition of Gold Coin Studios to their network of independent online casino game makers, Microgaming Director of Games Andrew Booth said that they are delighted to expand their exclusive studio network with Gold Coin Studios and that their newest partner brings “a wealth of industry knowledge to the table.”
Mr. Booth went on to say that they welcome the studio’s team on board and that they are looking forward to working together to “further diversify our games portfolio for Microgaming customers.”
Gold Coin Studios CEO John Duffy commented that they are very excited to be joining Microgaming’s network of content providers and that this would enable them to “reach hundreds of operators in markets worldwide.”
Mr. Duffy went on to say that they are looking forward to their journey with Microgaming “as we strive to create a portfolio of go-to games for players of all experience levels.”
Gold Coin Studios is based in Reno, Nevada. The studio boasts more than 200 years of combined experience from the land-based industry and is ready to bring that to the world of real-money online gaming.
Arthur’s Gold was the first of three titles the studio plans to launch this year. The other two – Aquatic Treasures and Animals of Africa – will be rolled out in the fourth quarter of the year.
