Illinois online casinos

Here comes another state interested in iGaming. A new bill to regulate Illinois online casinos and sports betting is currently being looked at and debated. After watching neighboring states like Michigan and Indiana jump into web-based betting with both feet, the Illinois state legislature has introduced the Internet Gaming Act for consideration

That bill could authorize current land-based operators for up to three  online casino skins in the state. The associated licensing fee is currently set at $500,000. Casinos and racetracks in Illinois would need to partner with a proprietary platforms, which would be quite simple considering state casinos already have partners for their online sports betting.

Although this may be a lengthy process, this is the first part of the process to bring online casinos to Illinois. You can read more about internet betting in the state at Gaming Today.
