Yggdrasil launches latest Peter & Sons’ collaboration: Robin – Nottingham Raiders

Casino News

In its latest collaboration with Armenian games studio Peter & Sons (P&S), Swedish provider of online gaming solutions, Yggdrasil Gaming, has launched, Robin – Nottingham Raiders, sequel to the original game based on the legendary heroic outlaw of English folklore that was created on the YGS Masters platform and released back in April.

Rather than Sherwood Forrest, where the first iteration was set, players are transported to the city of Nottingham. Against the backdrop of the quaint market town, the  5-reel, 4-row, 20 fixed paylines video slot, which sees Robin and his band of outlaws doing what they do best – robbing the rich and giving the loot to the poor – provides possible wins of up to 121,500x the triggering bet.

Game symbols and features:

The extremely volatile game has a 96.07 RTP and pays when matching symbols land left to right from the first reel. Here, players will find upgraded aesthetics and some powerful new features, such as Wilds, Special Wilds collection, re-spins, Extra Spins Roaming Wilds, and Panel Multipliers.

There are 12 base game symbols, such as a wooden club, a quiver with arrows, daggers, bow, a silver tankard and a turkey drumstick, while premiums include Friar Tuck, a knight, Marion, Robinhood, and King John. Landing a line of five premium symbols awards a payout worth between 5 and 10 times the stake, with five-of-a-kind silver coin wilds paying 25 times the stake.

Playable on all compatible devices, such as desktop, tablets and mobiles, with bets ranging from €0.20 to €10, the exciting game offers an extra spins feature which is activated when at least three scatter symbols land on the reels, awarding as many as 15 extra spins. The extra spins mode increases the chances of converting Wilds to Special Wilds. And with every one of the latter collected in the 9-slot meter to the right of the panel, three more spins are added. Special Wilds drop onto the game panel at random positions and during bonus rounds, they roam. Players can collect as many as nine Special Wilds and activate Panel Multipliers if at least one Wild lands on the same reel.

Pushing boundaries:

Commenting on the collaboration, Business Development Manager for Pater & Sons, Yann Bautista said…

“Following the success of our initial Robin Hood title we are excited to introduce the sequel which offers an abundance of features, great excitement and huge win potential.

“The game is true to our style that we are becoming known for and we keep pushing the boundaries when it comes to delivering premium gaming experiences to players.”

Repeat success:

As mentioned, Robin – Nottingham Raiders is the second title from Peter & Sons based on the legendary Robin Hood. It follows the successful release of Robin – Sherwood Marauders on April 26th this year and is the Armenian-based game development studio’s fourth title launch as a YG Masters partner.

Powered by the Cherry AB subsidiary’s state-of-the-art GATI (Game Adaptation Tools & Interface) technology used by all of Yggdrasil’s YG Masters partners, the advance allows them to produce cutting-edge content and to rapidly distribute those products.

Also commenting on the new game, Stuart McCarthy, Head of Product and Programs for Yggdrasil, used a company press release to say…

“Peter & Sons’ latest addition to the YG Masters portfolio brings the famous Robin Hood and his band of brothers alive on the slot screen for another thrilling adventure.

“It features a quirky ye olde English soundtrack, outstanding aesthetics and exciting gameplay, which combined delivers a great experience for slots fans.”
