Evolution has inaugurated a new engineering hub in Lisbon, Portugal, in the presence of the Mayor of Lisbon and former European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science, Eng. Carlos Moedas.

This engineering hub, which opened on March 10, is a new home for more than 40 employees in Portugal. Evolution is actively hiring and expanding its team, and it plans to grow up to more than 150 engineers by 2023.

Anastasiya Priede, Head of Engineering Operations & Global Growth, Evolution, told Yogonet: “We are pleased to see a continuous strong demand for our products worldwide and we continue to expand our teams and create more job opportunities across both new and existing markets to meet this demand. The new Lisbon site is an engineering hub which once completed will be a full-service development hub for our next generation of games and complement our existing engineering locations.”

“Lisbon is a strategic choice of location for us, it is a melting pot which offers both competent and forward-thinking software engineers with a strong professional drive. We look forward to continuing building our local team, contributing to the local engineering community, and having this site boost our ability to deliver the innovative high-quality products that our brands are known for,” Priede added.

David Craelius, the company’s Chief Technology Officer, said that what makes Evolution special are its solutions, which integrate video with a real-time graphical interface, available for mobile devices.

Evolution has more than 1,100 software engineers and a total of 13,000 team members spread across nearly 20 locations worldwide.
