WSOP 2022 Broadcast Schedule – Where to Watch?

There is one complete streaming service out there you can use to follow your favourite tournaments from the WSOP. The website offering full coverage is PokerGO. Not only that, but you’ll also be able to listen to play-by-play commentary as you watch. The best way for a frequent visitor of the top-rated poker sites to step up their game is by watching professionals and talented amateurs show off their moves. Therefore, don’t hesitate to see what the World Series of Poker has in store for us.

The big news in the poker world back in 2021 was that the WSOP severed ties with ESPN. The WSOP and CBS Sports have agreed to a partnership where the broadcaster has the right to air the poker events. If things go well, we should see the multi-year partnership continue without a change. CBS Sports is available on Paramount+.

WSOP Main Event 2022 Schedule

The most awaited tournament – the $10,000 WSOP MAIN EVENT – starts July 3rd and ends on the 16th of July. For ten days straight, you’ll be able to tune in at 11:00 AM and watch what’s happening on the televised tables. All-ins at the “not-so-important” tables, as well as masterful bluffs, are also highly likely to be shown. This event is a marathon and not a sprint, so players’ and viewers’ endurance will be put to the test.

Tournaments to Watch out for on the WSOP 2022 Schedule

As the name suggests, this is a series of very high-intensity tournaments and not just a single event. This is great for the poker fans with an insatiable hunger for tournament play as they can watch more than a single final. If they are watching online, they will even be able to relive their favourite moments. But let’s put that aside for now. We made a list of the most awaited events on the World Series of Poker schedule:

  • Event #70A: MAIN EVENT No-Limit Hold’em World Championship – $10,000 buy-in
  • Event #50: Super High Roller No-Limit Hold’em – $250,000 buy-in
  • Event #67: Super Turbo Bounty No-Limit Hold’em (Freezeout) – $10,000 buy-in
  • Event #56: Poker Players Championship 6-Handed – $50,000 buy-in
  • Event #6: Heads Up No-Limit Hold’em Championship – $25,000 buy-in

Putting big sums of money at stake seems to attract the unbiased viewer like a magnet. In that regard, Super High Roller No-Limit Hold’em is in a category of its own with an epic $250,000 buy-in. There are other tournaments with buy-ins to the tune of $50,000 and even $100,000! Definitely keep your eyes peeled for those. More information is available on the official World Series of Poker schedule.

Names That Make us Excited for the 53rd Annual WSOP

Some of the players on our list have something to prove, others are just too good not to finish in the money. Either way, we expect great things from these pros. Keep a close eye on Phil Hellmuth and his trademark blow-ups. The guy has been shooting daggers and dodging bullets since 1988. Here are the five players we think will bring their A game to this year’s WSOP:

  • Daniel Negreanu
  • Koray Aldemir
  • Phil Hellmuth
  • Tom Dwan
  • Phil Ivey

Of course, there are also many other names that you should keep an eye on. Carlos Mortensen, Fedor Holz, Michael Mizrachi and David Singer are also considered by many to be among the best poker players and favourites for some of the poker events. Whether you have a player you support, or you just want to watch and learn from the biggest in the game, keep track of the tournaments and the biggest plays.
