Online casino game developer and innovator, Evoplay has intensified its product exposure in Europe and beyond with a new deal to take games live to more players through a content distribution agreement with Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GiG).
GiG was founded in 2012 and offers access to all markets that recognize the Malta Gaming Authority casino and provider licenses.
Evoplay will offer a portfolio comprised of 52 video slots and 10 instant play games to operators serving GiG’s player base. The deal marks the second time this year that Evoplay has scored a “big win” with a new distribution deal. In April it was announced that the studio’s then-existing portfolio of 50 slots and 10 entertainment-focused instant win games would become available across the ORYX Hub distribution network in several regulated jurisdictions such as Malta, Croatia, Romania, and Serbia.
Some of the better-known games from Evoplay include Cycle of Luck, Ellen’s Fortune, Fruit Super Nova 100, Gold of Sirens, and Temple of Dead.
Leading Online Slot Innovator
On the bleeding edge innovation side of the Evoplay equation lies a mindset and the talent to bring new ways to play for a new generation of online gamblers. In February 2020 it released the industry’s first role-playing game (RPG) online video slot, Dungeon: Immortal Evil.
The game tracks with a 3D Camera in third-person view with each spin creating a new journey through adventures to level up by beating random enemies and collecting a randomly valued loot-based award that is converted into cash instantly.
Another genre-busting slot from Evoplay is the late 2021 release, Star Guardians. It’s a high-budget 3rd person shooter game with three characters for players to choose from. Like Dungeon, no actual skill is needed to win as results are all the product of a random number generator, whereas the engagement and choosing moves for your character is so immersive that it feels like deliberate actions affect the results.
Positive business synergies expected to be created by the alliance include additional options through diverse content for GiG to empower its localized content strategies and to deliver entirely new audiences for Evoplay to entertain.
“Massive Win” for Evoplay
Vladimir Malakchi, CCO at Evoplay commented: “Establishing a relationship with GiG is a massive win for our brand as we continue our mission of European domination. It’s been an amazing journey for our team so far this year, and in many ways, we’re only just getting started.
“We pride ourselves on delivering the very best content on the market and securing content deals of this nature only reinforces our desire to develop them. We’re sure this will be the start of a fantastic partnership.”
Business development specialist at GiG, Rebecca Attard said: “We are thrilled to go live with such a recognizable brand as Evoplay and couldn’t be happier to serve its renowned iGaming products to our players.
“It’s fantastic for our business to establish such a long-term, fruitful partnership with the development studio, and we look forward to seeing it bear fruit in the near future.”
The Evoplay game studio was originally founded in Kyiv, Ukraine in 2003 and the company officially entered the online real money gaming sphere in 2017. The developer has been recognized with an increasing number of mentions and awards and found itself on 5 shortlists for the coveted SBC Awards 2022. These included Employer of the Year; Leader of the Year (Vladimir Malakchi, Evoplay CCO); Casino / Slots Developer of the Year (Star Guardians); Innovation in Mobile (Star Guardians); Innovation in Casino Entertainment (Star Guardians).
