The World Series of Poker (WSOP) and GGPoker Network announced Friday that WSOP.ca, a WSOP-branded online poker room regulated by iGaming Ontario, is now available in the Canadian province following the successful soft launch of its software.
To celebrate the launch, WSOP is now hosting the Ontario WSOP Online Circuit Series. The event, which kicked off Saturday, October 1, is headlined by 12 WSOP Ring events and will last until October 16.
In lieu of the new launch, Ontario-based players who have existing GGPoker accounts must transfer their accounts to WSOP.ca and will be prompted to complete an automatic account transfer after logging into their GGPoker account. Once existing GGPoker players are successfully verified and transferred to WSOP.ca, they will have access to all the benefits of new users on the platform.
