Clarion Gaming has recently announced that it has shortlisted eight candidates from a pool of 24 international safer gambling organizations vying to become the official Charity Partner for the 2023/24 period, which includes the ICE, iGB L!VE, and iGB Affiliate events. The selected Charity Partner will be unveiled during the week commencing September 4th.

ICE Event Director, Andy Ventris, explained the selection process, stating that organizations were invited in July to present their plans for utilizing the partnership to elevate their profile, tackle challenges, and fulfill their core objectives.

“The response, measured both in the number of applications and their quality, has been really impressive and we look forward to working closely with the winning organization which is being decided by a panel comprising members of the Clarion Gaming senior team and assisted by industry stakeholders.”

Ventris emphasized Clarion Gaming’s long-standing support for safer gambling initiatives and the role that broader SR (social responsibility) initiatives can play in helping to build a sustainable gambling sector.

He highlighted the role that these initiatives play in fostering a sustainable gambling industry. Ventris also noted the significance of ICE’s Consumer Protection Zone (CPZ), which was introduced in 2018, making ICE the first B2B gambling event to include a safer gambling feature on the show floor.

Over the years, the CPZ has expanded in size and reputation, featuring 20 organizations at the February ICE event and successfully integrating into July’s iGB L!VE.

Clarion is committed to bringing all of its various partnerships to life and we are looking forward to using the unique platform provided by ICE, iGB Affiliate and iGB L!VE to help the selected charity engage with a truly international audience of industry professionals and thought leaders,” added Ventris.

The partnership between Clarion Gaming and the selected charity will involve the charity being recognized as an ICE Ambassador and will include prominent branding during the lead-up to and throughout the 2024 editions of ICE, iGB Affiliate, and iGB L!VE. The partnership is set to run from September 2023 to July 2024.
