World Poker Tour Reveals Live Streaming Schedule for WPT World Championship

Poker News

The World Poker Tour (WPT) plans to live-stream for 14 days during the WPT World Championship series next month, including one of the most historic poker tournaments ever.

Action begins Nov. 29 and runs until Dec. 23 at Wynn Las Vegas, one of the top spots for poker on the Strip. During what figures to be a massive series for the second consecutive year, there’s going to be a $40 million guaranteed championship event (Dec. 12-21), the largest guaranteed prize pool in poker history.

Not only will it set a guaranteed prize pool record, but it will, at the very least, become the third largest live tournament outside the World Series of Poker (WSOP) ever. But it’s far from the only major event on the upcoming schedule (full schedule below).

Here’s How to Qualify for the $40 Million Guaranteed WPT World Championship

If you’ve been wondering if the Wynn tournaments next month will be viewable for fans, the answer is yes to many of them. The WPT will begin streaming on WPT.com Dec. 7 with a $25/$50 Creator Cash Game featuring legendary poker vloggers Brad Owen and Andrew Neeme, both World Poker Tour ambassadors.

Tournament streaming begins the following day with the $1,100 Ladies Championship final table. On Dec. 9-11, it’s back to cash game action — the first two days a high-stakes no-limit hold’em game, followed by one day of pot-limit Omaha action. There are three additional cash game streams scheduled, including the Million Dollar Cash Game Dec. 15.

Speaking of million dollar games, the Big One for One Drop is back, but this time as part of the World Poker Tour’s series at Wynn. And, yes, the final table on Dec. 20 will be live-streamed for your viewing pleasure. Superstars such as Phil Ivey have already committed to the $1 million buy-in event.
