Landmarks and Concerts in Las Vegas

Industry

This week’s news is all about concerts in Las Vegas, with rumors of an Eagles residency at the Sphere on the horizon! Plus, Margaritaville Las Vegas has announced they are closing their doors soon! All this and an online slot for the Easter holiday!

If you couldn’t tell, spring has sprung. The clocks have been moved forward an hour. March Madness is underway. Baseball season begins this week. And Easter is on Sunday. Still, some folks are already looking forward to concerts in Las Vegas this fall. This week’s big story finds that legendary rock group the Eagles will be landing at the Las Vegas Sphere this September, right after their farewell tour wraps up. However… they are not the only band headed to town. In fact, they’re not the only band headed to the Sphere!

It took sheriff’s deputies, a crowbar, and a team of FBI negotiators… but U2 has finally left the Sphere! So now we turn our attention to who’s up next. And we begin with the rock group Phish, who arrive at the Las Vegas Sphere next month, but they’re only going to play four shows from April 18th through the 21st. After that it’s Dead and Company, who open their concerts in Las Vegas in May and have already extended their residency to 34 shows running through the end of August. And then, of course, the Eagles come to town this fall… in September. And while no specific dates have been announced yet, we’re told there will be 10 shows (for now), all on weekends, running through December.

Some other big name concerts in Las Vegas have extended their residencies as well, including Lady Gaga, who will perform at Park MGM from June 19th through July 6th. New Edition, who return to the Wynn for six additional shows July 3rd through the 13th. Carrie Underwood, whose Resorts World stay has been extended through the end of October. And don’t forget Adele, who is to finally wrap up her long running Caesar’s residency on June 15th, after extending it one last time.

Of course, the Easter holiday is coming up, and you may be out there thinking that there’s no way anyone made a specific online slot just for Easter… and you’d be wrong! In fact, we just released our review for the Fggomatic online slot, a classic five real game with three rows and 20 pay lines from Net Entertainment. Eggs are sent down a conveyor belt above the reels before dropping and releasing prizes and free spins! You can find this game review, and hundreds more, when you visit and subscribe to our YouTube channel.

And finally this week, with all the excitement around concerts in Las Vegas, you may have missed that Margaritaville at the Flamingo has announced that they will be closing their doors forever on April 15th. This following the death of Jimmy Buffett late last year. However, Caesar says the two events are unrelated. Originally open back in 2003, the 12,000 foot restaurant has been fairly successful, making this closure even more puzzling. And while Caesars will not give a specific reason why they’re shutting it down… some people people claim, there’s a woman to blame.

I am so sorry.
