On Saturday night, 80 celebrities will gather at PokerGO Studio on the Las Vegas Strip for the Celebrity Poker Tour (CPT) Invitational IV. Among those that’ll be profiled at the feature table are basketball players Dwight Howard, an 8-time NBA All-Star, and Kendrick Perkins, Vegas Matt, Blac Chyna, and Haliey Welch, known as the “Hawk Tuah Girl” for her performance in a viral video earlier this year.
Likewise, renowned French magician Xavier Mortimer, who has appeared on shows like Penn & Teller: Fool Us and America’s Got Talent, will not only be competing but is also expected to entertain those in attendance and at home.
The action, sponsored by Monster Energy, will live-stream on a plethora of platforms starting at 6 p.m. PST. Expectations are high as earlier this month the CPT Game Night III, which was won by Bryce Hall, reportedly reached an audience of more than a million viewers across all platforms. There’s a good chance the Invitational IV will be the CPT’s most viewed and successful event to date.
Brent Hanks and Jeff Platt will be on commentary for PokerGO likely with some special guests, while H3H3 will also be streaming the event to their massive audience with additional commentary.
Other celebrities slated to attend and compete for a $50,000 prize pool are Patrick Peterson, Xavier Mortimer, Ethan Klein, Steiny, Zach Justice, Chelly, Camee Adams, Jose Canseco, Ray J, and Tana Mongeau. There will also be a “Streamer Table” with the likes of Cash Baker, Maverick Baker, 5up, BookitWithTrent, Crawford Collins, Steven Schapiro, Wolfgang, and JC Caylen, among many others.
Previous CPT Invitation winners were Princess Love, Qiyu “Nemo” Zhou and Alexander “Wolfgang Poker” Seibt, all of who will return seeking a second title.
