US Sportsbooks Ready for NFL Season

Industry

The NFL season represents the prime opportunity of the year for US sportsbooks to attract new customers, and many are capitalizing on this by rolling out enticing promotions, drawing from successful past campaigns. This is an excellent time for bettors to score some impressive deals!

Typically, the NFL season generates over one-third of the annual revenue for US sportsbooks, prompting them to increase their marketing spend significantly. From the season’s kickoff in September through December, sportsbooks will invest hundreds of millions in advertising. The start of the season is especially ideal for snagging bonuses and special offers. Promotions come in various forms. Some sportsbooks provide matching funds or betting credits, while others offer loyalty program points or rewards. We’ve outlined some of these promotions below, but act quickly to make the most of them!

First, most US sportsbooks will have some form of promotion available, so there’s no need to limit your search to online options. Circa Sports, known for its Las Vegas location on Fremont Street, also operates online in Colorado, Illinois, Iowa, and West Virginia. They have NFL season-long pools with millions in prizes. You can still register for their two contests—the Circa Millions VI with $6 million in guaranteed prizes and the Circa Survivor, a $10 million winner-take-all event. Registration for these contests is open through September 7th but must be done in person.

Also, Fanatics is revamping its “Jersey Drop” promotion, a strategy it has successfully used before. As a leading sports merchandise company, Fanatics is possibly one of the only US sportsbooks that can offer this unique promotion at a competitive cost.  Plus, FanDuel is also launching its “Hunches” campaign, encouraging players to bet based on their intuition. The campaign kicked off with a commercial featuring comedian Eric Andre, who shared how his hunches could turn into a parlay bet on FanDuel.

SuperBook is hosting several contests, including the season-long SuperContest and the Pro Football Season Wins Contest. DraftKings is one of the US sportsbooks  offering new customers cash, like $200 in bonus bets and a free month of NFL+ subscription. Meanwhile, BetMGM is providing up to $1,500 in bonus bets for new customers who make a minimum deposit and wager, covering their first losing bet. Lastly, Caesars and ESPN Bet are also offering promotions, with both providing up to $1,000 in “rebet” bonuses for new customers.
