The Magician Returns

Phil Hellmuth is scheduled to emcee the event, which will take place at Resorts World’s Alle Lounge on 66 and allows for up to 54 players to enter.

“So far, I have MC’d charity events raising over $75 million for many great charities,” Hellmuth said in an earlier announcement. “I look forward to raising more funds for worthy causes in November.”

The high roller tournament will raise money for the One Drop Foundation, which helps communities solve the water and climate crisis. According to WPT, the WPT Foundation and One Drop Foundation have raised more than $75 million combined since 2012.

Esfandiari famously won the $1 million buy-in One Drop in 2012 for $18.3 million, which remains the biggest tournament prize in poker history. His last Hendon Mob cash was in 2019.
