Live casino specialist Evolution has teamed up with Cordish Gaming Group to deliver its Live Casino and First Person RNG-based titles to its recently launched PlayLive! gaming site in Pennsylvania.
Cordish Gaming Group is a subsidiary of Maryland-based real estate developer and casino operator The Cordish Companies.
The company launched its PlayLive! casino site in August 2020. It developed the iGaming hub in partnership with European gambling technology firm GAN Limited. The online casino features hundreds of popular online slots as well as a number of table games.
PlayLive! is currently available to players from Pennsylvania. It marked its debut ahead of the opening of The Cordish Companies’ two land-based casinos in the Keystone State. Live! Casino Pittsburgh swung its doors open for players in November 2020, while Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, the city’s second casino resort, celebrated its grand opening this past January.
Under the terms of its recent deal, Evolution will deliver its portfolio of Live Casino titles, gameshow-style games, and First Person range to PlayLive! and its players from Pennsylvania. The games will be broadcast from the provider’s live studio in Philadelphia, which is expected to go live in the second quarter of the year.
A Great Fit for the Live! Experience
Commenting on their partnership with Cordish Gaming Group, Jeff Millar, Commercial Director, North America at Evolution, said that they are excited and proud to be working with the gambling group and their PlayLive! casino site.
Mr. Millar went on to say that their extensive Live Casino and entertainment portfolio is a “great fit for further developing their Live! experience online.”
Cordish Gaming Group Executive Vice President Joe Billhimer added that their Live! Casino & Hotel properties “set a new standard in best-in-class customer experiences” and that one of their main objectives when developing the PlayLive! online casino “was to deliver a complementary online offering that is just as entertaining and attractive to our customers.”
Mr. Billhimer further pointed out that they chose Evolution as their strategic Internet gaming partner because they are confident that the “exceptional quality and breadth” of the Live Casino expert’s portfolio will enable them to achieve the above goal.
PlayLive! is Evolution’s latest partner in the Keystone State. The major provider has teamed up with multiple locally licensed operators since it obtained its own license to supply its content there in the fall of 2019.
It partnered with Penn National Gaming shortly after it received its license from the state Gaming Control Board. Last year, it announced a similar deal with Caesars Entertainment, Inc. And earlier this year, the company announced a partnership with Parx Casino.
