Nevada Regulator: All COVID Restrictions End June 1st

Industry

Several weeks ago, Governor Steve Sisolak promised his state would be fully open by June 1st. Now, Nevada regulators confirm that all restrictions in place for the Coronavirus will end that date.

The Nevada Gaming Control Board has confirmed that at midnight, June 1st, “…none of Nevada’s counties will retain social distancing or occupancy limitations that would apply to a gaming licensee.”

The timing of this announcement could have been better, as a big three-day weekend is coming for Las Vegas. And the 1st of June will come right at the end (Tuesday) of the Memorial Day holiday. The Control Board confirmed they will continue to enforce COVID-19 directives over the weekend.
