Online poker room WPT Global has just made a huge signing for their ambassador team. The latest poker superstar to be added to their ranks is none other than Jonathan Van Fleet, aka “apestyles”.
The Twitch poker phenom joins up with the likes of Brad Owen, Andrew Neeme, Ethan “Rampage” Yau and Phil Ivey as part of the ambassador team.

Who is Jonathan Van Fleet?
For the uninitiated, Van Fleet is a powerhouse on both the virtual and live felt. He’s recorded more than $22 million in online tournament earnings over the course of his career and has a further $868,064 from the live poker realm.
Van Fleet also has built up a legion of fans thanks to his entertaining streams on his Twitch channel as well as his bite-sized vlogs on YouTube.
His biggest payday, per pokerstake, came back in 2017 where he won the $5,300 buy-in partypoker MILLIONS Online.
The Canadian narrowly came close to winning his first World Series of Poker bracelet in the summer but fell in fourth place in Event #44: $3,000 No Limit Hold’em for his best live cash of $238,546.

The announcement of the new partnership comes just in time for the record-setting $40 million guaranteed WPT World Championship, which runs from December 12-21.
